Terms of Service

EFFECTIVE 24 MAY 2026 · UPDATED 8 JUNE 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cricspace mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Cricspace ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cricspace. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

Your Account

  • You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your OTP with anyone.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at support@cricspace.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
  • Post false or misleading cricket data, scores, or statistics.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
  • Use automated bots or scrapers to access the Service.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.

Cricket Data and Content

You retain ownership of the match data, scores, and content you create. By submitting content to the Service, you grant Cricspace a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the platform (for example, showing scores on leaderboards or team profiles).

You are responsible for ensuring that any data you enter is accurate. Cricspace is not liable for incorrect scores or statistics entered by users.

Importing stats from a file or image. Cricspace lets you import statistics by uploading a photo, screenshot, or CSV file, from which our system automatically reads the numbers. When you upload such a file you confirm that: (a) you have the right to upload it and to use the data it contains; (b) doing so does not infringe any third party's intellectual property and does not breach the terms of any other app or service the file came from; and (c) you are responsible for any other person's information contained in it. Imported statistics are automatically extracted, are treated as unverified ("Imported"), and may contain errors — you are responsible for reviewing them for accuracy before saving. Cricspace does not guarantee the accuracy of imported data and is not liable for it.

Ground Bookings

Ground owners set their own availability and pricing. Cricspace facilitates bookings but is not a party to the agreement between ground owners and booking teams. Any disputes regarding bookings, pricing, or ground conditions must be resolved directly between the parties.

Payments and refunds. Where a booking involves payment, the ground owner is the seller and is responsible for fulfilment, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with the terms they display. Unless we expressly state otherwise at the time of payment, Cricspace does not collect, hold, or process booking payments and is not responsible for refunds. Any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the relevant party.

Intellectual Property

The Cricspace name, logo, and all original content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Cricspace and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

User-uploaded content and copyright complaints. You must own, or have permission to use, any image, logo, photo, or other content you upload, and you must not upload material that infringes a third party's trademark or copyright. We respond to valid copyright complaints and may remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers. To submit a takedown request, see our Copyright / Takedown Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cricspace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time directly in the app (More → Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting support@cricspace.app. If you are the admin of a team with other members, administration of that team will be transferred to another member when your account is deleted so the team's records remain available to the rest of the squad; teams with no other members are removed. Shared match and tournament records you participated in with others may persist as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cricspace and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.

Dispute Resolution; Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver

Informal resolution first. Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@cricspace.app so we can try to resolve the matter informally.

Binding arbitration. Except where prohibited by law, any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court. You and Cricspace waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class or representative action.

Consumer carve-out. Nothing in this section removes any non-waivable right you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer in another jurisdiction whose laws require it, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence, and nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory local law.

General

  • Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
  • No waiver — our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment — you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure — we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Entire agreement — these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Cricspace regarding the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India have jurisdiction, except that this does not override the mandatory consumer-protection laws or the courts available to you in your country of residence where such laws require otherwise.
